Welcome to The Pomegranate, in Brenham! We're so thrilled to have you visit our cozy little domain. After a fun retail career in Austin, Connie (Cornelia) Wilder came back to her hometown of Brenham, Texas. Connie threw open the doors to Brenham's first gourmet housewares and whole bean coffee shop in September of 1978, and never looked back.

We've seen several iterations of growth from The Pomegranate. An expansion into tabletop and gifts, a rebrand and expansion of the coffee shop, the opening of an eclectic from scratch café at the back of the gift shop, and the eventual transition from café to cooking lab and test kitchen.

Stretching an entire block deep in the downtown square, The Pomegranate is a staple in your Brenham experience. We're proud to offer bridal registry consulting, cooking + baking classes, comfortable seating and free Wi-Fi, and even complementary gift wrapping.

 

We carry Waterford, Wedgwood, Lenox, Reed & Barton, & many other exclusive tabletop lines. The Pomegranate also carries high-quality German-made cookware as well as made-in-the-USA bakeware. We pride ourselves on special orders for guests. Wired n’ Inspired uses only the best drink ingredients: imported Italian espresso beans, top-of-the-line syrups, and coffee beans roasted in Texas with one-day delivery. Freshly baked scones are available daily.
